Permaswage is a market-leading aerospace component supplier manufacturing permanent couplings or high tensile metal devices used to connect hydraulic, air, fuel or other tubing in all types of civil and military aircraft. Permaswage (formerly GDT) also has a fast growing business supplying components for electricity sub-stations.

The business operates from two sites, in Paris and Los Angeles, allowing it to serve the major French and US original equipment manufacturers. It counts amongst its global customer base Airbus and Boeing and four of the top five US utility companies where it has successfully introduced its products to the electricity distribution network. In 2011, Permaswage began production on a greenfield manufacturing site in China, increasing its exposure to the Asian aerospace market and allowing it to become an integrated local supplier for existing customers that have a manufacturing process there.
