John is a Partner and co-head of lnvestor Services with responsibility for Bridgepoint's investor relations, investor communications and capital raising activities. He is also a member of the Firm's Operating Committee. He has worked at the Bridgepoint since 2007.
Prior to joining Bridgepoint, for ten years he was a managing director at Helix Associates, the private equity placement agent, in London. In 1992 John co-founded Yucatan Foods in Santa Monica, California, a specialty food company where he arranged several rounds of equity and debt financings. He has also worked for WSGP Partners, a private equity firm established by Former US Treasury Secretary William E Simon in Los Angeles, and Morgan Stanley, in its corporate finance divisions in New York, London and Sydney
John is a member of the Mid-Market Buyout Platform Council of the European Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (EVCA). Previously he was a member of the EVCA's Investor Relations Committee for six years and chaired or served on the Task Forces producing the editions of the EVCA lnvestors' Forum from 2005-2010.
He is a US citizen and graduated from Yale College in 1980 with Distinction in American History and regularly writes on private equity industry topics.
